Following roughly a year of construction, officials recently held a ribbon cutting ceremony for Waldwick Station, which features 110 rental units ranging from studios to 2-bedroom apartments.
“We are excited to open one of the rare, new apartment communities in northern Bergen County,” said Ed Russo, CEO of Russo Development. “Waldwick Station will be an attractive living option for nearby residents that might be downsizing, or younger adults who want to live in a great community.”
The residences feature modern finishes including stainless steel appliances, in-suite washer-dryers, and quartz countertops. The four-story structure also features covered parking, a state-of-the-art fitness center, fully-furnished entertainment clubroom and outdoor roof terrace. There is also a small retail space at the ground floor which is planned for a coffee shop to service residents and commuters.
The project created by Dinallo Construction Corporation and Russo Development was built at the former DeMartini Coal and Lumber Company site which had been vacant since 2013, as well as a second vacant parcel acquired from New Jersey Transit.
